During the Covid-19 pandemic, tough restrictions were introduce in Victoria, Australia. Rough 1 of Stage 3 restrictions started on March 30, 2020 at 2359hrs and begin easing on May 12, 2020 at 2359hrs.
After restrictions were eased, a spike in cases saw the Victorian border with New South Wales closed on 7 July, 2020 at 2359hrs. Round 2 of Stage 3 restrictions were reintroduced for Metro Melbourne and Mitchell Shire on 8 July, 2020 at 2359hrs.
